Dr. Thota Navaneetha, is an Assistant Professor and Head in School of Management at Annamacharya University, where she orchestrates a seamless blend of erudition and Practice. She has extensive Teaching experience for more than a Decade in Teaching and Research. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupathi in the Year 2017.

She has qualified UGC-NET in the year 2011. She has done MBA with HR and Marketing Specialisations. Armed with multi-faced background, she wields a comprehensive proficiency in Organizational behaviour, Worklife balance, Leadership, Team Dynamics, HR Analytics, Industrial relations & Labour laws and Sustainable HR Practices. She has published 31 research papers in Journals of National and International repute, attended many conferences, workshops, Faculty Development programmes and authored a text book on work-life balance. She is the Member of Board of studies in School of Management at Annamacharya University. She is the central coordinator for Human Rights cell at the University. She is certified in Business Analytics for Management decision from NPTEL.

  • To sharpen the ability of students to think critically through the lens of rigorous analytics.
  • To acquire emerging technologies and practices in next-generation analytics for complex data analysis.
  • To develop the skills and instincts needed to make sound decisions and become an effective manager.
  • Understand various elements of analytics: business context, technology and data science.
  • Understand the emergence of analytics as a competitive strategy.
  • Learn story selling using data and effective communication using analytics.
  • Learn to solve problems from different industries such as aerospace, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, services, software, sports etc

Programme Outcomes

  • Ability to apply analytics techniques to analyse and interpret the data.
  • Ability to use tools such as Python, R etc. to solve business analytics problem.
  • Recognise the importance and value of mathematical and statistical thinking, training, and approaches to problem-solving, for a diverse variety of disciplines.
  • Have necessary skills and understanding to take up advanced topics in the area of analytics and thus, enhance their career.
  • Analyse the relationship between strategic decision making and corporate financing decisions.
  • Students will work on real-world projects and learn the skills necessary to succeed in data visualization, statistical modelling, data mining, optimization, and simulation in order to proficiently analyse large datasets and to generate actionable insights.

PSO – 5: Use research-based knowledge and methods including company analysis, primary and secondary data collection, analysis and interpretation of data to find out solution to business problems.
